Plus Plus Returns to Australia!
Plus Plus is finally coming back to Australia, and the STEAM Kids team is very excited! Our new sets have almost landed, so keep an eye on our page as our collection grows.
After stocking Plus-Plus many years ago, then air-freighting sets in over the last few years direct from the factory in Denmark, STEAM Kids is THRILLED that a massive range of Plus Plus is now coming back to Australia. How cool is the new travel set and case!
STEAM Kids has taken Plus Plus along to many events, festivals, schools and activities as part of our Flying Fox Studios kids activities over the last 6 years and everyone absolutely love these little construction pieces.
From kids around 5 years just starting to build, to grandparents who haven't played with a construction toy in years, Plus-Plus is certainly a hit for all ages.
What is Plus-Plus all about?
Plus-Plus is a creative construction toy where kids (and their parents no doubt!) use their imagination to build and create colourful 2D and 3D models, pictures, mosaics, scenes and more!
A perfect combination of stimulating creativity, focus and fine motor skills. Kids don't even know they are practicing using their pincer grip each time the piece the Plus-Plus bits together.
The Plus-Plus team believe that open play is the foundation for creativity and free thinking.
Plus-Plus is loved by teachers and the educational sector because of the tactile elements, and the open play possibilities which stimulate fine motor skills and creativity.
In this section we want to inspire teachers and parents on how to teach during play by using Plus-Plus in their daily interaction with kids.
Where did Plus-Plus come from?
The idea for Plus-Plus was developed in Denmark back in the eighties. Starting with the concept of using one shape to build many things, Plus-Plus has since grown to become an award winning toy stocked in good quality toy stores all around the world.
What makes Plus-Plus Unique?
Plus-Plus has a unique shape, where the pieces interlock together to create a strong structure. Each piece can fit into another in two distinct ways. From a single repeating pattern you can create and develop much larger projects, with lots and lots of details.
Where is Plus Plus Made and is it 'Green'?
Plus-Plus is made in Denmark, in a factory and headquarters that uses 100% green energy from wind power. The Plus-Plus factory also has a 'no waste' production, with all excess plastic re-grided and used as material for new Plus-Plus pieces. All Plus-Plus is produced from food approved PE. Plus-Plus Tubes are produced from food approved PETG. All products and packaging are 100% recyclable.
